Resorts World Arena
The Resorts World Arena (formerly known as the Genting Arena), complementing Genting UK’s neighbouring new development - Resorts World Birmingham – the UK’s largest fully integrated destination leisure and entertainment complex.
Boasting a flexible arena bowl, the venue can be dressed to accommodate intimate academy events for around 5,684, or hold a total capacity of 15,685. With over 100 shows per year, welcoming over 700,000 people through its doors and ranked 27th in the list of ‘Top 100 Arenas Worldwide’ by Pollstar, the Resorts World Arena continues to provide world class entertainment and is regularly home to some of the world’s biggest acts who give show-stopping performances at the Arena including The Script, Maroon 5, Take That, Fleetwood Mac, Florence + The Machine and André Rieu.
Added to that, the Arena continues to be a venue of choice for sporting events such as Horse of the Year Show, Arenacross and WWE. Resorts World Arena was one of the UK’s first purpose-built concert arenas and the roof towers are famous worldwide. The towers help the team to accommodate large scale shows like Lady Gaga, which remains the heaviest show to be held at the venue at 68 tonnes!

As well as great live shows, the Resorts World Arena is all about giving visitors ‘more than just the main event’. Following its £29million redevelopment back in 2009, the venue now boasts an innovative pre and post-show entertainment area, Forum Live. Forum Live has gone from strength to strength and now hosts everything from acoustic acts and comedians, to dancers and magicians before shows.
The Arena is keen to give back to the industry and provides local and unsigned talent with the opportunity to perform in Forum Live before headline acts take to the main stage.

Flexibility is one of the Resorts World Arena’s unique selling points and the event team remains dedicated to putting on a great event for the client. Whether a full scale production or private product launch, the experienced team can deliver any event of any size. This was recognised by the industry at the 2012 Live Music Business Awards when the venue won ‘Best Venue Teamwork – Arena’.
Putting on a great show starts behind the scenes and the Resorts World Arena boasts experienced Technical and Rigging teams who offer organisers a one-stop-shop for touring production needs. The teams can provide a full rigging service, including pre-production preparation for tours – which is unique for a venue like this. And, being an in-house team means that they have excellent relationships with promoters, production managers and tour riggers worldwide, which helps them to achieve great results.
