Vivid and NEC 10-year renewal

Vivid Experience will be transporting visitors to mesmerising Moroccan Fire Nights this festive season, having re-contracted their ‘Christmas Party World’ at its flagship venue, the NEC, to 2029.

The partnership has been operating the ultimate Christmas party space annually since 2013, with 200,000 guests to date enjoying Vivid’s trademark themed party environments. 

Parties take in the entire of Hall 1 at the NEC with around 14,000sqm of flexible event space, expanding or decreasing in size to accommodate exclusive clients of between 750 - 2500 guests, as well as mixed party nights with tables of up to 10.

Richard Longhill, Managing Director of Vivid Experience said: “We’ve had an extremely successful seven years with the NEC thus far.  Having originally been based in Hall 12, the popularity of our party nights meant we’ve been able to expand and move to an even larger space within the same venue.  The ceiling height of Hall 1 has allowed us to push boundaries of creativity and design and maintain our position as the ultimate Christmas party destination.  I’m excited to see what we can achieve in the future with the support of the NEC team.”

This year’s theme rises from the Moroccan desert to meet the intoxicating, vibrant land of Marrakesh.  Aerial performances will take advantage of the NEC’s 15m internal height, bejewelled cocktail bars will be in situ, plus the opportunity to enjoy fairground rides and a Fun Casino*.  All this will follow a three-course dinner served by the NEC Group’s multi award winning caterer Amadeus.
