The NEC are thrilled to announce that Makers Central – an event dedicated to uniting all makers, builders and inventors – will be coming to the Birmingham based venue over May 5th and 6th 2018.

With over 8,000 visitors expected to attend, the launch is set to be one of the biggest creative events of the year. YouTube makers from all over the world including the USA, Hungary, Germany, Italy, UK, China and even Australia – who have all drummed up huge online followings around the world – will be in attendance.

Founder of the show, Nick Zammeti from NZ Woodturning on YouTube, said: “We are extremely excited to be bringing Makers Central to the NEC. It is a new concept for the UK to bring together extremely talented makers from around the globe.

“The NEC is the perfect venue for our show as it’s in a great location for our visitors, but we also couldn’t imagine launching our show anywhere else. We wanted the biggest and best venue in the UK for our makers.”

NEC Business Development Executive, Jenny Wright, said: “We are delighted to welcome Makers Central to the NEC. We’ve got a great track record of delivering events to a national audience in the hobby market so Makers Central was a perfect fit. We are really looking forward to seeing all the creations.”
