The Vox strengthen its sales team

Sally has joined the Vox sales team as an Account Manager from Aston Villa Football Club where she was previously part of the conference and events sales team for seven years. Prior to joining the NEC Group, Sally has experience in both commercial and event management, and her broad experience will be an asset to the team.

Sales Director James Elston said: “We are pleased to welcome Sally to the Vox and her wealth of experience makes her a great addition to the existing team. We have just celebrated our first birthday and we can already see that our venue is making a huge impact on the industry. As we look to continue to grow our business we need talented people in the teams behind the scenes.”

In her new position at the Vox, Sally will be responsible for the corporate account management of new and existing clients, whilst also securing new and repeat business for the venue. The vibrant conference centre offers five purpose built, fully flexible suites that can accommodate small meetings for two right through to large scale conferences for 900.

The unique venue is the first to sit within an integrated complex in Europe and offers delegates a complete end-to-end conference experience with bars, restaurants, a spa, casino and hotel all under one roof.

Commenting on her recent appointment Sally said: “I am thrilled to be part of the team organising unique and exciting events at the Vox. The venue is supported by a fantastic management team at the ICC so to have that knowledge and skill behind everything we do is amazing.”

Sally added: “I’m bringing with me a wealth of experience in the event sales industry and I am passionate about building client relationships and going the extra mile, so I am delighted to be bringing this to the NEC Group.

“I have always thrived in a busy sales environment and am looking forward to working on large scale events for some fantastic clients.”
