The Ticket Factory refreshes group bookings
11 January 2018Leading ticket agent, The Ticket Factory, has appointed Kelly Sharman as Sales Manager for group bookings, as it continues its focus on enhancing the customer experience.
The appointment marks a refresh of the ticket agent’s group bookings arm, now offering a greater, more personal level of customer service for both existing and prospective clients.
Having entered the world of events at a young age, Sharman brings with her a wealth of experience, having run her own event support consultancy and group sales company, DB Promotions, for the last 25 years. In that time, she has operated as the official group bookings sales representative for events such as Feld Entertainment (Disney On Ice), The Birmingham International Tattoo and has worked with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
Commenting on her appointment, Sharman said: “The team and I will be bringing a cleaner, slicker group booking solution to market. We’re now offering much more of a personal approach, making the purchasing process simpler for bookers and ensuring they have the best experience possible with The Ticket Factory. We will also be seizing new opportunities within the groups market, working in collaboration with more event organisers, so we can offer a varied and exciting portfolio of events.
“Having worked closely with The Ticket Factory and the NEC Group on events held at their Birmingham venues in the past, I know what an enthusiastic and expert agency The Ticket Factory is, and I’m looking forward to the opportunities ahead.”
Director of Ticketing for the Ticket Factory, Richard Howle, added: “I am delighted that Kelly has joined The Ticket Factory. Her experience and expertise in the groups market will prove invaluable as we look to extend our reach in this important and valued sector.”
