A judging panel of industry experts described their awards entry as “an excellent demonstration of how the team worked together in difficult circumstances to achieve excellent results.  They felt that the team had handled the Manchester Arena attack extremely well and were a worthy winner for this award in light of the work they had done centring around the disaster.”

Throughout the year, the team has worked hard on both proactive and reactive PR activity, while supporting the Group’s individual business units.

Key projects include the response to the Manchester Arena attack, secondary ticketing awareness initiatives, the launch of long-stay content - Dinosaurs in the Wild, and ‘Food For The Brain’ accreditation, as well as focusing on event activity and awards entries.

Nic Young, Group Marketing Director said: “This is a brilliant endorsement for the whole team – with special credit to Katy Barden currently on maternity leave.”
