New Groups Sales Manager welcomed at The Ticket Factory
29 January 2016National ticket agency, The Ticket Factory, has further strengthened its Client Services team by welcoming a new Groups Sales Manager to the Birmingham-based office.
Daniel Handley, who has worked within the ticketing industry for 11 years, takes on the new role after being promoted from his position as Client Services Account Manager.
Although he has only been in the business for 18 months he has already had a positive impact on client relationships and is now looking to drive his new team forward from a group sales perspective.
His new role, which started at the beginning of January, will see him working closer with clients, helping them with all aspects of making group bookings as well as working to ensure that the best offers for group bookers are received from the promoters, in addition to discounts and travel solutions.
“I’m really pleased to be taking on this role after being in the business for such a short period of time and am already looking forward to building on my relationships with the clients and driving the business forward through group sales.
“Being in the industry for 11 years I feel I can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the new role. I love working with our clients and feel a sense of achievement when I can see them benefit from the work that I do. I’ll continue to work hard to get the best group deals from our promoters so we can pass them directly on to our customers,” said Dan.
Also joining the Client Services team to take the vacant Account Manager position is Rachel Floyd, who joins from another primary ticketing agency.
Rachel has 7 years of ticketing industry experience, gained working mostly on large scale exhibitions and events, which she will be bringing to her new role.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know my new clients and building strong relationships with them.
“I wanted to join the team at The Ticket Factory because I know how much they care about their clients and felt that the team environment and ethics in the business was something that I wanted to be a part of,” said Rachel.
As part of her role, Rachel will be working closely with clients to manage all their requirements and to build successful events for clients each year.
