The NEC Group has installed seven new Joos machines across some of its venues to enable customers to charge their mobile phones while on the move.

Located in the NEC, ICC, Utilita Arena Birmingham and Resorts World Arena, the new self-service machines cost £3 to rent one portable charger for the day.

To access a charger from one of the Joos machines, customers will need to download the Joos app, create an account and scan the QR code. This will then release a charger from the machine. Upon return, customers need to press the ‘return’ button on the machine and slot the charger into the slot which has a flashing light. The charger can be returned to any Joos machine whether that’s on-site or off-site.

There is a customer help service available on the Joos app for customers that experience any issues.
