The ICC and Vox are purpose-built event spaces, renowned for hosting a wide variety of events – from intimate meetings of 10 to large-scale conferences of up to 8,000 delegates.

Recognising the strength of the Asian community in the Midlands and the demand for large, flexible venues, the ICC and Vox identified an opportunity to elevate their offer by partnering with a leading external specialist, renowned for its premium service and attention to detail.

Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, the ICC is ideally positioned for large-scale events. The Vox, situated on the NEC Campus, is within walking distance of Birmingham International train station and Birmingham International Airport, and is walking distance to over 2,000 hotel rooms on-site – making it a convenient and accessible destination for both national and international guests.

Both venues offer exceptional flexibility. The ICC features 10 conference halls, while the Vox houses five fully flexible suites equipped with Skyfold walls, allowing for rapid reconfiguration.

Madhu’s Limited is the UK’s leading South Asian caterer, renowned for crafting bespoke menus for high-profile weddings and corporate events. With over 45 years of heritage and fourth-generation expertise, Madhu’s Limited delivers unparalleled culinary excellence rooted in a legacy that began in Nairobi. No other UK caterer matches its prestige—serving at over 280 events annually and proudly catering twice at both Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

Andy Gibb, NEC Group Managing Director for Conventions, said:

“We’re incredibly excited to be working with Madhu’s on our new Asian events offer. They set an exceptionally high standard of event delivery and cuisine, which aligns perfectly with the ICC and Vox offer.

Both venues are ideally suited for Asian events – particularly weddings – and we can’t wait to host our first celebration this summer!”

Arjun Anand, Director, Madhu’s Limited, said: “We are delighted to partner with the ICC and Vox, two of the UK’s most respected venues. Expanding into the Midlands has been a long-held ambition for us, and we look forward to bringing our signature style and service to clients in the region.”
