Britain’s Got Talent auditions
12 October 2015The International Convention Centre (ICC) is thrilled to be hosting the Birmingham auditions for Britain’s Got Talent landmark 10th series.
Auditions will be kicking off in Birmingham on Sunday, 25th October for three days where aspiring acts will take to the stage in the hope they can proceed to the next round of auditions in 2016 to face judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
Sales Director of the ICC James Elston, said, “We are looking forward to welcoming Britain’s Got Talent back to the ICC for the fifth time. Whenever the auditions come here it creates a great atmosphere throughout the venue and the Mall with a real buzz of excitement. It not only shows off the people of Birmingham’s talents, but also demonstrates the flexibility of our venue.”
The three day auditions will be taking over four of the ICC’s Halls, 10 executive rooms, the media suite and registration area.
Executive Producer of Britain’s Got Talent, Amelia Brown, is looking forward to returning to the city saying, “Birmingham has given us some great talent in the past including the father and son singing group The Neales, who were in the final of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. We are looking for talents of all varieties from singers and dancers to comedians and contortionists and can’t wait to see what Birmingham has to offer.”
The auditions will held in the ICC on 25th, 26th and 27th October before moving on to further auditions in London, Cardiff, Liverpool Glasgow and Manchester. The show is open to any performer of any age, with any talent - all they need is a skill and star quality which they think will impress.
Aspiring acts can apply now via www.itv.com/talent to register for one of the audition days or alternatively send through you can also apply sending in a video audition of your act. Britain’s Got Talent is a Thames/Syco production for ITV. The show returns to ITV in 2016.
