£41K for Cancer Research UK
31 January 2018Following a phenomenal year of fundraising, the NEC Group has presented a cheque to Cancer Research UK for £41,457.08.
The Group, which operates the NEC, ICC, Genting Arena, Arena Birmingham and the Vox venues, plus supporting businesses The Ticket Factory, Amadeus and Amplify, broke its fundraising record for the second year in a row.
Funds were raised through a range of events from cake sales to Christmas jumper days to bucket collections at events.
Cancer Research UK was voted for by NEC Group employees at the beginning of 2017, from a list of nominated charities.
